There are stalactites,  and various other amazing natural wonders inside these caves.

What is especially famous here are the rare "soda straws" that are found in the areas called “kinshi no iwaya” (gold cave) and “ginshi no iwaya” (silver cave).

Although its not the best limestone caves in the world (i've traveled throughout Europe and Asia for 3 years), its definately one of the best ive seen in Japan...I miss seeing limestone caves...its been a long time!!

ALSO we go on a breathtaking 90 minute slow, relaxing hike next to a gorgeous crystal clear river along a lush, green valley:)

I have searched this area extensively, going down every side trail,  and I have found an incredible hidden rock pool where we can refresh and dangle our legs in the water....you DEFINATELY have time to swim if you want.....and jump off the rocky ledges into the water as well !!
